Goalkeeper Training Fall 2018

Registration closes in 10 days

Goalkeeper training will be on Tuesday evenings beginning 9/25 at Stringham Park from 5:15-6pm for the older age groups and 6-6:45pm for the younger age group. We are offering 6 one hour sessions for $60. The sessions will take place on the following dates 9/25, 10/2, 10/9, 10/16, 10/23, and 10/30.

Intramural is defined as U5-U10
Limited Distance Travel is U11-U19
The Registration system will place you in the age appropriate division based on the child's date of birth.

Registration will remain open even when divisions are full. Interested players will be placed on a wait list - if there are openings then you will be notified by email to complete the registration process. Players who compete at the travel level or higher are not eligible to compete in the Limited Distance Travel program.

For U5 and U6 players - registration fee includes a soccer shirt. For players U7 and older registration fee includes a soccer shirt, shorts, and socks.

Players are required to wear shin guards for safety and cleats are recommended. Players that are new to LaGrange are required to send a copy of the players birth certificate either via mail - LaGrange Soccer PO Box 101 Lagrangeville, NY 12540 Attn Intramural Registrar OR email to

LaGrange Travel Soccer for 2018/19

The LaGrange Soccer Club offers travel divisions for both boys and girls U9- U19. Each player must attend a tryout and be selected by the designated coach prior to placement on a team. The registration fee does not include the cost of a team uniform. This fee includes the cost to obtain player passes, insurance, referee fees, field maintenance and club administrative costs. This fee does not include indoor training costs, tournament fees or additional trainer fees as determined by individual coaches.

U8 Travel Development Program 2018/19

This program is offered to any LaGrange Soccer Intramural registered players whose birthdays fall between 1/1/2011 - 12/31/2011 as training geared towards the travel level and is for players looking for extra touches to improve their game. This training is supplemental to the players regular intramural games and practices. There is no fee at this time.

Training will be on Tuesday evenings from 5:15-6:30pm beginning in September at Stringham Park.

LaGrange Soccer Registration - Fall 2018/Spring 2019


 Registration for Travel teams is OPEN -  pleae register only after your child has tried out and been invited join a team.

Registration for both Intramural/Limited Distance Travel remains OPEN - age groups that have filled up will go to a wait list option (we will notify you by email if a spot opens up and invite you to complete registration). 

 Registration for our Special Needs program is always OPEN.

Registration for U8 Travel Development Program will OPEN on 8/1/18 for those players who are registered in our U8 Intramural program (players born in 2011. 

  Please note: 2018-2019 Season will begin in the Fall of 2018 (Sept-Nov) and includes Spring 2019 (April-June)

The Intramural/Limited Distance Travel registration fees are as follows before July 15th:

U5-U6 - $95 per child

 U7-U10 - $110 per child

U12-U14 - $155 per child

U15-U19 - $165 per child

***For Limited Distance Travel and Intramural  players who register after July 15th   they will incur a $25  late fee ***


The soccer year registration fee includes a fall season (September to November) AND the following spring season (April to June).

Lagrange Soccer Club offers various levels of play, please carefully select the correct program link when registering as there are many choices: 

-Intramural (U5-U10)  The LaGrange Intramural Soccer Program is offered to all children 4 years and older.  Children born between 1/1/2014 and 12/31/2014 are eligible to play for their first time in the U-5 division for the 2018/2019 soccer year.  The program provides skills instruction for all age divisions.  U5-U10 is a co-ed division. 

-Limited Distance Travel (U11-U18)

-U8 Travel Development Program (LaGrange Soccer registered U8 only), online registration required - signup begins August 1st**

The LaGrange soccer club is excited to offer our U8  program again this fall to our LaGrange families. The program aims to provide training for U8 intramural players interested in starting travel program in their U9 year. Players in this program will be practicing and playing games in their regular U8 division along with the additional travel development training.

-Travel Soccer Registration  (U9-19) Register here for Travel Soccer only after your child has tried out for a team and has been invited to play. 

                                          Travel registration fee are as follows:  U9-12  $200/player  

                                                                                                          U13-19  $225/player

-Special Needs Soccer Program is offered to adults and children with disabilities.

LaGrange Soccer Club has a premier soccer facility at Stringham Park for your children and your support is essential to its success.  As the parent or legal guardian, you will need to perform concession duties for at least three (3) hours per year.  If you do not fulfill concession requirements, your children’s participation in LaGrange Soccer Club may be in jeopardy for the following year.  Please click here for a detailed description of our concession requirements.  LSC Concession Stand FAQ2018.pdf           



Remember the five S's:  Shirt, Shorts, Socks, Shoes, Shin guards

Goalkeeper's jersey is to be distinct from the remainder of team, referee, and assistants.

Soccer cleats: Sneakers are not recommended since they tend to be slippery and can cause foot injury on the grassy field.

Shin guards: Shin guards are mandatory for both practice and games. No exceptions. Soccer socks need to completely cover your child's shin guards during practice and games.

Soccer Ball: The different age divisions use the following size soccer balls:

U5 & U6 & U7 - size 3

U8 - U12 - size 4

U13 and up - size 5
